Conenor Ltd history
goes back to late 1980' when a finnish inventor Kari Kirjavainen made
one of his technical inventions; the conical extruder, an
entirely new and different extrusion technology to extent
the limits of conventional extruders.
Today
Conenor is a management owned development company in the field of high-tech
extrusion processes, machinery and products with its two innovative technologies
branded 
extrusion
and 
biaxially oriented microcellular film & sheet process. The technologies
are offered to global markets with license agreements only.
Conenor competence is in the superb performance of the patented two technologies combined in the ability to tailor them into manufacturing new added value customer products - regardless if they are made of plastics, composites, rubber or other materials like e.g. food. Both of them offer in specialty application areas highly competitive technical as well as economical advantages that are not available in any other technology. The work is now increasingly focusing in industrialization and commercialization of these new technologies within confidential customer projects.
The
company's facilities are placed at Myllypuro at the city of Tampere in
Finland where the -line
is placed while the R&D
machinery in centralized August 2005 into Conex Skill Center at the city
of Vantaa, Finland in collaboration
with Maillefer Extrusion Oy after more than 10 years R&D together
with Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT).
